Full Itinerary

Day 1 – UK/Ireland to Bogotá

Fly to Colombia’s high-altitude capital. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and settle in for the night.

Day 2 – Historic Bogotá & Monserrate

Guided tour of Bogotá’s colonial centre, the Botero Museum, Plaza de Bolívar and the Gold Museum. Finish with panoramic views from Cerro Monserrate. Afternoon free.
(Gold Museum closed Mondays. Monserrate closed Sundays.)

Day 3 – Bogotá to Coffee Axis

Fly into Colombia’s coffee-growing heartland. Optional afternoon coffee plantation tour at Hacienda Tradicional. Overnight in Coffee Axis.

Day 4 – Filandia, Cocora Valley & Salento

Explore colourful Filandia, climb to the Quindío viewpoint, hike through the cloud forest and see the towering wax palms of Cocora Valley. End with a visit to Salento.

Day 5 – Free Day in the Coffee Region

Relax, explore local villages or enjoy an optional afternoon at Hacienda Combia.

Day 6 – Coffee Axis to Medellín

Fly to Medellín — the “City of Eternal Spring”. Transfer to hotel and evening at leisure.

Day 7 – Medellín & Comuna 13

Learn how Medellín transformed itself on a guided visit to La Sierra and Comuna 13, including street art, cable cars and local stories. Afternoon free.

Day 8 – Free Day or Optional Guatapé

Relax in El Poblado or join the optional full-day Peñón de Guatapé excursion including the famous 724-step monolith climb and reservoir cruise.

Day 9 – Medellín to Cartagena

Fly to the Caribbean coast and transfer to your hotel in Cartagena, one of the most colourful and atmospheric cities in Latin America.

Day 10 – Rosario Islands Cruise

Travel by shared speedboat to the Rosario Islands National Park for a full beach day with lunch included. Swim, sunbathe and enjoy island life. Return mid-afternoon.

Day 11 – Free Day or Optional Cartagena Tour

Relax in the walled city, shop for local crafts or join an optional panoramic guided tour to San Felipe Castle and San Pedro Claver.

Day 12 – Return Flight to UK/Ireland

Transfer to the airport and fly home. Overnight on board.
