Celebrity Australia cruises sail at the height of the southern summer. So the season runs from November 2028 through to April 2029. Sixteen sailings are on offer across two ships. Celebrity Solstice covers the first half, while Celebrity Edge takes over from February. Sydney is the main base, although Auckland and Singapore are both used as well.
New Zealand gets the fullest treatment. Those sailings run the southern fjords first, with Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound and Dusky Sound seen from the ship. They then work up the coast through Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and the Bay of Islands. Lengths range between 10 and 14 nights.
Australia itself splits into three sorts of trip. For example, the wine sailings take in Hobart, Adelaide and Melbourne over 9 or 10 nights. Short Tasmania breaks run 4 or 7 nights. In addition, longer 15 night routes link Sydney with Singapore by way of Bali, Darwin, Port Douglas, Cairns and Airlie Beach.
A few sailings head into the South Pacific instead, calling at Noumea, Lifou, Mystery Island, Port Vila and Fiji. One 19 night voyage in April also crosses the Pacific from Sydney to Honolulu. So tell us which of these appeals. We’ll then look at flights, stopovers and availability together.
