About this holiday
Celebrity Equinox Hawaii cruises reach the islands by sea. So there is no long haul flight to Honolulu at either end. Both island sailings run round trip from Los Angeles, which means you board once and unpack once. Two dates are on sale for 2028: 17 nights in April and 16 nights in October.
Each one calls at Hilo, Kailua Kona and Honolulu, with back to back days in Oahu. The April sailing also adds San Francisco early on. Both then stop at Ensenada in Mexico before returning to Los Angeles. In addition, sea days sit either side of the islands, so you get time to settle into the ship properly.
The same season carries two longer voyages down the Pacific coast. For example, one runs 15 nights between Valparaiso in Chile and Los Angeles, calling at Lima, Manta, Puntarenas and Cabo San Lucas. The other reverses that route in November and also adds La Serena. Both suit anyone who wants South America and Central America in a single trip.

Out of Los Angeles by way of San Francisco, then on to Hilo, Kailua Kona and two days at Honolulu. Ensenada in Mexico follows on the way home.
16 nights: Hawaii round trip, 20 October 2028
A direct crossing from Los Angeles to Honolulu for two days in Oahu, then Kailua Kona and Hilo, with Ensenada before the return.
15 nights: Los Angeles to Chile, 5 November 2028
The southbound route, taking in Cabo San Lucas, Huatulco, Puntarenas, Manta, Lima and La Serena before ending at Valparaiso.
