This India and Nepal tour takes in 13 nights across two of the world’s most remarkable destinations. You’ll start in Delhi, where the ancient and the modern sit side by side. From there, the group heads into Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region for a castle visit, a desert sunset and a private dinner with live music. Next comes Jaipur, the pink city, with its Amber Fort palace, lively street bazaars and a hands-on Rajasthani cooking class.

After Jaipur, the route continues to Agra for an evening visit to the Taj Mahal. It also includes a walking tour the following morning before the group flies to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. Here, you’ll explore Durbar Square and the ancient seat of the Malla kings. Then a short flight takes you to Pokhara, where the lakeside setting and the views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchre mountain are simply stunning. A visit to a Tibetan refugee camp, a cooking class and the World Peace Pagoda all feature during the stay.

Wildlife, culture and a homestay dinner to finish

The final leg of this India and Nepal tour takes you to Chitwan National Park, one of Asia’s finest wildlife reserves. It’s home to the one-horned rhino and the rare Royal Bengal tiger. A four-hour safari drive gives you the best chance of spotting both. You’ll also visit a local indigenous community for a full cultural experience. Then, back in Kathmandu, a homestay dinner with the native Newar people of Kirtipur brings the trip to a memorable close.
