You fly from your chosen UK airport to Taipei with Eva Air and check in at The Landis Taipei, a 5-star Art Deco hotel in the Zhongshan district with three on-site restaurants — including the Michelin-starred Tien Hsiang Lo — a spa, health club, and free Wi-Fi. Over four nights with breakfast each morning, your included experiences cover the city’s authentic side: a three-hour evening street food tour of the Yansan Night Market with a local guide, six to eight tastings of dishes the locals actually eat, and a private full-day tour north to Jiufen, Yehliu Geopark, and Pingxi, where you release a sky lantern over the valley.
