This Mauritius to Cape Town cruise combines a tropical island stay, a 12-night all-inclusive voyage aboard Azamara Onward, and a Big 5 safari, over 17 nights departing 23 April 2028. It’s a genuinely varied trip: beach time, days at sea, and wildlife, all in one itinerary.
You’ll start with three nights at Tamassa Bel Ombre in Mauritius on a bed and breakfast basis, a lively family and friends-focused resort with a relaxed spa and social dining. From Port Louis you’ll board Azamara Onward for a 12-night all-inclusive cruise calling at Reunion, Madagascar, and along the South African coast at Richards Bay, Durban and Port Elizabeth, with meals, drinks including beer, wine and spirits, and gratuities included throughout. While docked at Richards Bay there’s the option of a full-day Big 5 safari at Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, Africa’s oldest proclaimed game reserve, with private transport, meals and conservation levies included.
The cruise finishes with an overnight call and two nights ashore in Cape Town, staying at the Taj Cape Town on a bed and breakfast basis, with time to see Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront and the surrounding wine country before flying home. Return flights from a choice of UK airports and 23kg baggage are included.
