Ocean Thrills: Fernando de Noronha & Rio de Janeiro 2026

This Fernando de Noronha and Rio de Janeiro holiday takes in three of Brazil’s most extraordinary destinations across ten nights, with guided tours, world-class diving, and island adventures all included in the package price. You begin in Recife, known as the Venice of Brazil, with two nights at the five-star Hotel Atlante Plaza on Boa Viagem Beach. A five-hour city tour covers Marco Zero Square, the Park of Sculptures, Fort of the Five Points, and Casa da Cultura before a connecting flight takes you out to the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha.

Four nights at Pousada Maria Flor put you in one of the world’s most pristine marine environments. Fernando de Noronha is a UNESCO World Heritage site and consistently rated among the top three diving destinations on the planet. Your included diving experience takes you up to 12 metres below the surface with an experienced instructor — no prior diving experience required. The 7-hour Ilhatour island adventure explores the archipelago’s most iconic beaches, historic viewpoints, and the famous Two Brothers rock formation in a small group of no more than ten, led by a certified guide. You’ll have free time to swim, snorkel, and explore independently throughout your stay.

The final leg brings you to Rio de Janeiro for four nights at the Windsor Excelsior Copacabana, directly opposite Copacabana Beach. A full-day Rio tour covers Christ the Redeemer at Corcovado, Parque Lage inside the Tijuca Forest, the Selaron Steps in Santa Teresa, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Maracanã stadium, using small vehicles rather than large buses. A day trip to Arraial do Cabo — nicknamed the Brazilian Caribbean — includes a schooner cruise to dazzling beaches, caves, and crystal-clear snorkelling waters. Please note: lunch on the Arraial do Cabo day trip is not included.

The package includes return international flights from London Heathrow via Lisbon with TAP Air Portugal with 23kg baggage per person, and all private transfers throughout.
