About this holiday
This seven-night P&O Iona Norwegian Fjords cruise departs Southampton on 5 September 2026 (voyage G630), returning 12 September. The itinerary calls at Stavanger and Haugesund on Norway’s south-western coast, and at Alesund — the art nouveau city on the edge of the fjords — before docking at Olden for access to the Briksdal Glacier. September is a strong month for the Norwegian Fjords. Alesund’s distinctive art nouveau architecture — rebuilt after a fire in 1904 — makes it one of Norway’s most photogenic cities. Olden sits at the head of Nordfjord with the glacier above and the water below.
