The P&O Cruises Family Offer: Children from £299 in School Holidays
The headline deal is a children’s fare starting from £299 per person on selected 2027 school-holiday sailings. Specifically, third, fourth and fifth child guests travel from that price. They must share a cabin with two full-paying adults. Sailings depart from Southampton and run for seven nights or more. Also, they must fall within school holiday periods to qualify. So summer 2027 and October half-term are both in scope.
The terms are straightforward on that point. Mini-Suites, Suites and BE grade cabins are excluded, as are fly-cruise itineraries. Book by 25 August 2026 to qualify.
The exact fare depends on the sailing, the cabin type and the date. We will always work through those specifics with you before you commit. The £299 price is, however, a genuine starting point. On some dates and cabin grades the figure will be higher. In short, a proper quote beats assuming the lowest price applies to your preferred departure. That is exactly what we are here for.
Extra Guests Sailing Free: The Off-Peak P&O Cruises Family Offer
For families or groups travelling outside school holidays, there is a separate deal worth knowing about. Third, fourth and fifth guests in a cabin can sail for free on selected 2027 off-peak holidays. The minimum sailing length is six nights. Also, the sailing must depart from Southampton. Departures run between 4 January 2027 and 21 December 2027. However, this offer excludes school-holiday sailings, so it does not overlap with the children’s fare deal above.
Arcadia and Aurora have a variation worth flagging. On those two ships, third and fourth guests sail free during peak season sailings of seven nights or more. That applies to departures between 27 May 2027 and 21 December 2027. So if Arcadia or Aurora is on your shortlist and you are looking at peak dates, the free-uppers offer still applies. The terms are slightly different to the main fleet, but the saving is real.
In summary, Southampton sailings only. Fly-cruises, Mini-Suites, Suites and BE grade cabins are excluded. Book by 25 August 2026.
On-Board Spending Money on Selected 2027 Sailings
Running alongside both offers above is an on-board spending money (OBC) incentive on Select Price bookings. The amount varies by sailing length, cabin grade and departure date, so it pays to ask. As a guide, a two-adult balcony cabin on a 14-night departure after April 2027 carries up to £350 per cabin.
That OBC is usable across the ship: bars, restaurants, the spa, shore experiences booked on board, the shops and internet packages. It cannot be exchanged for cash, so it works best when you have a clear idea of how you want to spend it before you sail.
This offer covers the first two guests in a cabin. It is available on Select Price bookings made by 17 December 2026. Applicable departures run through to 30 March 2028. Importantly, it is combinable with the 10% deposit deal below.
10% Low Deposit: Book Now, Pay Less Upfront
All three offers above can be secured with a 10% deposit rather than the standard amount. To qualify, you must book by 31 August 2026. This applies to Select Price and Early Saver bookings on departures from 1 October 2026 through to 28 October 2028. It covers the first four guests in a cabin, which suits most family bookings well.
For families booking a 2027 sailing, this means locking in the children’s fare or the free-uppers deal now, with less due upfront. The balance falls due closer to travel in the normal way, as standard. If you book after your balance due date has already passed, the full amount is payable immediately. Acting before 25 August matters for more than one reason.

The booking deadline for the children’s fare and the free-uppers deals is 25 August 2026. The 10% low deposit closes on 31 August 2026. The OBC offer runs to 17 December 2026 on qualifying departures, so that one has more runway. However, the children’s pricing and the extra-guests-free deal do not.
