ITINERARY

Day: 1 San Jose & Central Valley

Arrive in the capital and have a private transfer to your hotel

Day 2-3: Tortuguero & the Caribbean Coast

Take the scenic journey passing through primary forests before taking a boat transfer to yoru lodge. Take guided jungle hikes, explore the landscape by boat through the flooded waterways. Spot caiman, tropical birds, monkeys, macaws and iguanas.

Days 4-6: Arenal Volcano

Visit the hanging bridges, canopy walkways spotting flora and birdlife along the way. You can hike the national parks trails and relax in natural hot springs taking in the views. Experience the area through kayaking Arenal Lake, zip lining through the trees or white-water rafting.

Days 7-8: Monteverde Cloud Forest

Enjoy the route to Monteverde, passing through mountains and cloud forests on the way to the cloudforest region. Take a nature walk with your specialist guide, learning about the biodiverse environment. Visit Selvatura complex, a cloudforest conservation project.

Day 9-11: Santa Teresa Beach

Fly to Santa Teresa to enjoy some sun, surfing, yoga, horse riding and fishing on the beaches.

Day 12-13: International return flight to UK
